A 14 Year Double Maturation Single Blended Rum, distilled in both the copperDouble Retort Pot Still and the Continuous Twin Column Coffey Still ofFoursquare.

This release was aged for 5 Years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels, and then tranferred intoEx-Black Muscat Casks for an additional 9 Year.

Initial Impressions: Intriguing and extremely complex, while still holdingtrue to the Foursquare and Barbados character. Layers of savory, citrus, andfruit forward characteristics meld with classic brown butter and caramelRum notes.

Aroma: Immediate notes of Vanilla and orange peel leading into sweettangerines and mandarines – with unique herbaceous and baking spicenotes.

Palate: Bold and complex, but round and pleasant. Distinctive savory notes- similar to miso, or salted caramel, with hints of enoki mushroom, leather,cedar and honey notes on the finish – all built around a base of brown butter,rich toffee and characters of both berry and citrus fruits. Intriguing fromstart to finish and a truly complex spirit.
