Antinori Pppoli Chianti Classico 2022 375ml

Antinoris Peppoli was first made in 1985 and year in year out proves to be a reliable, great value Chianti Classico. Produced from predominately Sangiovese grapes, the wine was aged for approximately 9 months in large Slavonian oak casks with a small parcel in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of fruit.

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Dark to black cherry and blackcurrant aromas mix with dried herb, earthy tobacco and spice notes. Medium bodied, amply fruited and possessing a fleshy mouth feel the palate features ripe dark cherry and blackcurrant flavours over a back drop of earthy dried herb elements, tobacco and spicy black olives. Fine grained tannins finishing with good length and slightly rustic.
