Camino de Navaherreros, a Spanish Garnacha, sourced from organically grown, estate-owned grapes as well as selected purchased ones. The vineyards are situated in the San Martn de Valdeiglesias region, characterized by high-altitude, granitic sands within the Gredos Valley. The winemaking process involves a 25-day maceration with some whole bunches, followed by fermentation in a mix of stainless steel, concrete, and large wooden vats. After blending, the wine is aged in upright old wooden vats and bottled without filtration. The result is a delightful Grenache with a balanced profile of juicy red fruits, sweet spice, and subtle hints of garrigue, showcasing the freshness of its high-altitude origins. Be warned, one glass might not suffice.
