Valli Waitaki Pinot Gris 2023

Pinot Gris from the Waitaki Vineyard, handpicked from low yielding vines at two separate windows around a month apart. Whole bunch pressed and fermented in 61% oak while the rest is racked to stainless steel. The wine iscrisp and dry with asilky, generous texture.

Aromas of white peach, ripe pear, lemon zest, orchid and oyster shell. The palate is complex and layered with flavours of citrus, stone fruit, white blossom and sea salt that complement a richly textured palate with perfectly appointed acidity that lingers intensely on the finish.
