White Oak distillery is located in the city of Akashi in Hygo Prefecture, west of Kbe, facing the Seto Inland Sea. The distillery was founded by Eigashima Shuz in 1888. Eigashima Shuz obtained a license to manufacture whisky in 1919, but it was when the company moved to their current facility in 1984 that White Oak Distillery was born. White Oak Single Malt Whisky is produced in limited quantities and is a product of Japan.
