Yangarra Noir 2022

Yangarra, nestled in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, combines ancient geology, high altitude, and a Mediterranean climate to cultivate the best grape varieties of the southern Rhne. Their 2021 Noir blend features 34% Grenache Noir,31% Carignan, 20% Cinsault,8% Counoise, 5% Shiraz and2% Mourvdre, expressing lifted fragrance, vibrant acidity, and bright flavours. The winemaking process involved fermenting Carignan, Cinsault, and Counoise together, with minimal intervention to preserve delicacy. Aged in older French oak, predominantly in large foudres, this certified organic and biodynamic wine offers a unique expression of McLaren Vale’s terroir.
