Sourced from six distinct blocks on the elevated Blewitt Springs site, its sandy soils and ironstone foundations give the wine a uniquely rich yet fresh profile. The nose is a heady mix of blackberry, plum, and a touch of spice, while the palate delights with deep flavours of dark fruit, chocolate, and a subtle hint of vanilla. A full-bodied wine with firm, well-integrated tannins, it finishes with great length and balance. Thanks to the meticulous winemaking process including wild yeast fermentation and ageing in French oak the result is a wine with amazing concentration, elegance, and a dash of that signature McLaren Vale brightness.
