Zircon Azul Reposado Tequila

Awarded the Silver Medal at The Polished Palates Spirit of Mexico 2011 Tasting Competition, Tequila Zircn Azul Reposado is made from select hand-harvested Agave plants grown naturally with family pride in Arandas, Jalisco. This 100% Agave Reposado is hand-poured into once used white oak whiskey barrels for a minimum of 8 12 months (2 6 months is typical of most Reposados). As a result of the aging process, the tequila takes on an amber hue and is then poured by hand in a unique artisan blue glass bottle.

The nose has a strong near dry cut grassiness, vanilla, lite honey, chalky minerality, slightly perfumy, white and chili pepper, and hints of pine and thyme.The flavors are arobust amount of black pepper, strong agave, slight honey, vanilla, oak barrel aging effect, and a floral note of perfume.

The finish is bold and gratifying, with long flavors and a harmonious overall balance.Zircns Reposado is at its best as a sipping tequila or paired with an orange wedge and cinnamon.
